-Fertilizer is a chemical or natural substance added to soil to increase its fertility. It is an example of new agricultural technology because fertilizer is one invention that has lead to a great increase in the worldwide food production. Properly applied fertilizer can create the perfect environment for crops to grow quickly and healthfully. 

-Even though using natural fertilizer might be fine the chemical fertilizer isn't where it's at. Good soil is one of the bases for a healthy plant. If that soil is pumped with many chemicals and toxins its going to go in to the plant.Chemical fertilizers are made with synthetic ingredients designed to stimulate plant growth. The food that the plant produces is going into us, or other animals which is also going into us. 

Solution:

-There's a solution to all of this. Instead of farmers buying chemically induced fertilizer they can always make or buy their own natural fertilizer. They're much cheaper to buy than chemical fertilizers. Plus it might be good for you in the long run. If people see that your crops or plants are being fertilized naturally, they're going to want your food verses the chemically fertilized foods.
